Anadolu Sel\u00e7uklu d\u00f6nemine ait olan ve Van’\u0131n k\u00fclt\u00fcrel miras\u0131n\u0131n simgelerinden biri kabul edilen Ulu Cami, uzun y\u0131llar boyunca at\u0131l durumda bulunuyordu.
